Welcome to the Acitivities page! This is where you can get ideas for doing projects for your class presentations.
Note: If you plan to share your project ideas in class, please photograph the process of your experiments, activities and or projects and upload the photographs to your website. Add comments to each of the photographs for interest. You can also do a complimentary video, which we will only be able to see on your website, not in the virtual classroom. You can email your videos to me at [email protected] if you would like for them to be shared in the virtual classroom. You will need to have your parents upload the video to a You Tube channel for me and email that URL for me to retrieve the video.

How to Make a Seashell Plaque from Cool2Cast by Tiffany Windsor -

Easy Seashell molds - Another variation from the above videos
Materials: Varies sized shapes of seashells, play doh or clay, plaister of paris, water, mixing bowl, spoon
Procedure: Press the seashell into the clay and remove. Mix up the plaister with water (read plaister instructions for the correct ratios) and pour into the plaister and water paste into the seashell impression. Allow to dry for several hours. After several hours, remove the clay from the plaister. Allow the plaister to dry for a day. After it's dry you can paint and decorate or leave as it is. You can use these molds to make a plaque as presented in the above video or use for another type of project.
